We recognise the importance of our staff in allowing us to deliver exceptional levels of care. Our staff levels are needs-led, and our care team work closely with care managers, social workers, carers and relatives and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide a care program that is both tailored to the individual’s needs, but also addresses their physical, social and psychological needs.

We recognise the importance of our staff in allowing the provision of excellent levels of care. In light of this, we recognise the importance of investing in staff recruitment development and training as part of our care provision both in the present and in the future. Staff are recruited using a strenuous recruitment process that utilises competency tests, interviews, and DBS & reference checking to ensure that the best available candidates join our diverse team of care staff. Our significant investment into training and development has seen The Drive Care Homes recognised as an Investor in People since 2007. Our care staff are all enrolled onto the nationally recognised QCF programme. In addition, our care staff are offered and industry leading training and development program, that utilises on the job training in a number of areas including First Aid, Autism, Child Protection, Adult Protection and Epilepsy including Stesolid. All training is carried out at our purpose-built facility in Sidcup, as well as being CPD & ROSPH Certified.
